In Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) this is simply the representational systems in which we understand the world. NLP is a very popular therapy it is an approach to communication and personal development that focuses on how individuals organise their thinking, feelings and language

The use of essential oils in life coaching can add an olfactory element to the coaching experience, providing aroma-therapeutic benefits that can support your on an emotional, mental, and physical level. Here are some ways in which essential oils can be integrated into life coaching:

  1. Setting the atmosphere: Essential oils can be used to create a calming and conducive environment for coaching sessions. A diffuser can be used to disperse essential oils into the air, filling the space with pleasant and relaxing scents. This can help you feel more at ease, reduce stress, and enhance their overall experience during the session.

  2. Emotional support and mood enhancement: Different essential oils have distinct aromatic profiles that can influence emotions and mood. For example, lavender is known for its calming properties, citrus oils like lemon or bergamot can promote a sense of upliftment and positivity, and frankincense is often used for grounding and centring. By incorporating specific essential oils, coaches can create an emotional atmosphere that supports the your needs and desired outcomes.

  3. Anchoring positive states and intentions: Essential oils can be used to anchor positive states, intentions, or affirmations. You can apply a drop or two of a preferred oil to their pulse points or create a personal inhaler with a specific oil blend. By associating a particular scent with a positive state of mind or intention, you can use the aroma as a trigger to evoke those desired feelings and attitudes.

  4. Self-care rituals and practices: Essential oils can be incorporated into self-care rituals that you can practice outside of coaching sessions. Encouraging you to use essential oils as part of your self-care routine, such as in baths, massages, or daily aromatherapy practices, can support your overall well-being and create a sense of nurturing and relaxation.

When using essential oils in life coaching, it is crucial to consider individual sensitivities, preferences, and any potential contraindications. Some of you may have allergies or sensitivities to certain oils, so it's essential to tell your coach about any potential reactions or health concerns beforehand. Additionally, your coach will ensure that the essential oils used are of high quality and sourced from reputable suppliers.

Remember, essential oils should complement and enhance the coaching process, but they should not be seen as a substitute for professional therapeutic interventions when needed.
